Mountain Leveling
Mountain level is the main progression clock. It raises health, changes rewards, opens artifact choices, adds den opportunities, and eventually points you toward special mountains.
| Health | Mountain max HP uses a level-based base value, multiplies it by 1.115 per mountain level, rounds it, and never lets it fall below 1 HP. |

| PP Reward | Awards +1 PP at the next prestige reward level, then moves the next PP reward ahead by 1-3 mountain levels. |
| Soul Reward | Every fourth level after level 1 can spawn a Soul and lowers base gold per damage by 0.01, down to a 0.3 floor. |
| Artifact Choice | Offers 3 artifact choices at level 2 and then every third level after level 1; level 49 banks three choices for the gate. |
| Den Count | Every mountain starts from one den roll, then makes up to three extra den rolls with chances that rise by level. Spelunker multi-den bonuses multiply those extra-roll chances, with a minimum multiplier of 1. |
Leveling Priorities
Section titled “Leveling Priorities”| Progress Point | What To Do |

| Levels 1-2 | Build damage and hauling first. Artifact choices start early, but weak economy makes every bad buy more painful. |
| Dens appear | Treat den clears as part of progression, not a distraction. Dens feed artifacts and mithril. |
| Every fourth level after 1 | Watch for soul rewards and the gold-per-damage reduction. Soul matters more once rituals and late upgrades are available. |
| Special gate level | Prepare keys and gate artifacts before pushing too deep, or the run can stall at a special mountain checkpoint. |
| World Spire path | Shift from normal economy into required artifacts, PP, mithril, and permanent scaling. |

| Goblin King Peak | Timed Goblin King milestone around level 20; success awards the Goblin Crown artifact. |
| Dragon's Peak | Timed dragon milestone; success awards Dragon's Egg and dragon riches, while failure forces a prestige or retry. |
| Architect's Summit | Architect's Golem milestone; the game warns you to destroy the mountain before the golem seals itself away. |
